Volunteer Opportunities for Students

Each year, the NIBS Worldwide Case Competition brings together 16 teams representing internationally-oriented business schools from all corners of the globe. It also attracts sponsors and judges from leading business, non-profit, and public sector organizations. Volunteering for this world-class event is an opportunity to build your résumé and expand your horizons, all while enjoying a remarkable life experience.

Volunteers are welcome to attend most competition events, providing a fantastic opportunity to network with sponsors and judges from organizations looking to hire top students. Volunteering for NIBS 2019 provides you with tangible benefits you won’t find anywhere else:

  1. Interested in case competitions but not sure what to expect? Volunteering at NIBS gives you front-line experience at a major international competition that can help you decide if competing is right for you.
  2. NIBS attracts over 80 students and faculty representing top business schools from all corners of the globe.  You’ll get an international experience right here in Charlottetown, and have an opportunity to form lasting friendships that could take you around the world.
  3. Need experience managing and organizing complex projects?  There’s no better way to learn than on-the-job training.  Volunteering for NIBS will prepare you for senior student roles within the school and for your career after graduation.
