About the Team
Linda Schweitzer (Coach)
Linda is a Professor of Management and Strategy at Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business. She teaches strategy, organizational behaviour, and project management in the school’s undergraduate, MBA, and PhD programs. Linda’s research program examines the “modern career”, generational diversity in the workforce including gender-wage gap, representation of women in STEM, and diversity in management. Prior to completing her PhD at Carleton, she worked as an engineer and Project Manager in Montréal and Québec City. Linda has been coaching case competition teams for several years; she returns to NIBS after working with teams in 2014 and 2017.

Katelyne Clackett
Born and raised in Southern Ontario, near Toronto, Kate is a third-year Bachelor of Commerce student concentrating in accounting. She recently completed a summer working with an international automotive metallics manufacturer, applying her degree skills in the fast-moving industry. Kate gained case experience through the Jeux du Commerce Central competition, where she has competed for the past two years. She is actively involved as a student ambassador for the Sprott School of Business, and serves as VP internal for the Student Accounting Association. In her spare time, Kate enjoys reading, spending time with friends, and being active. She plans to pursue a CPA designation and build a career in the medical industry.
Ty Murphy
Ty was raised in Waterloo, Ontario. He is fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce student concentrating in marketing. His first international case competition experience was in Spain last March, at the Universidad de Navarra International Case Competition. Ty also has participated in Jeux du Commerce Central, competing as delegate for three years before becoming an executive director of the competition this past January. Currently, he works as a Marketing Analyst at Farm Boy, one of Canada’s fastest-growing and most innovative grocery chains. His career interests include product management, marketing research, and project management.
Blake LeClair
Blake was born and raised near Ottawa. He is a fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce student focusing on accounting. Blake completed a co-op work term in the audit practice of Deloitte from January to August of 2019, focusing on small to medium entities. He gained case experience at Jeux du Commerce Central in 2019, competing in the accounting division. Blake has a passion for community involvement and regularly involves himself with volunteer activities both inside and outside Carleton. He plans on pursuing a master’s degree in accounting and looks forward to enjoying international travel opportunities throughout the world with friends.
Steven Nader
Steven was born and raised in Ottawa. He is a fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce student with concentrations in finance and accounting. Steven previously completed internships in international tax, and most recently completed an internship in Deloitte’s Strategy & Operations consulting team. Last year, he was a member of the winning teams for both the Van Berkom JMSB Small-Cap Case Competition in Montréal and the TD Financial Case Competition in Ottawa. Steven is also a manager on Carleton’s student-run investment fund. He plans to pursue an MBA and a career in strategy consulting.
