About the Team
Tania Konczynski (Coach)
Tania graduated from Concordia’s John Molson School of Business in 2005 and competed in the NIBS Case Competition in Rennes, France the same year. She has worked for a variety of IT firms, and is currently Director of Sales and Marketing for JOVACO Solutions, a Microsoft Partner. Tania has helped coach the NIBS team since graduating with her executive MBA from the University de Québec à Montréal in 2014.
Paul is a fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce student with a major in finance and a minor in data intelligence. He has been heavily engaged during his time at Concordia, completing an honours thesis, managing budgets for a student club, and competing in business case competitions. Paul has held internships in sales operations, financial advisory, and investments, and is currently involved in the management of a student-run fund.
Dave was born and raised in Ottawa, but moved to Montreal to attend JMSB. He is a third-year Bachelor of Commerce student majoring in finance and minoring in data intelligence. A highly involved student, Dave competes in both debate and case competitions, and currently holds a position in Concordia’s Commerce and Administration Students Association. He has a passion for cooking, travelling, and video games, and plans to pursue a career in banking or corporate finance.
Originally from Caracas, Daniela split her childhood between Venezuela and Canada. She is a third-year Bachelor of Commerce student majoring in finance and minoring in data intelligence. Her first case competition experience was this year’s Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (I.C.B.C.) at Queen’s University, where she was part of Concordia’s information systems team. Daniela is currently Director of External affairs for JSBA, the technology and supply chain student association at JMSB. In her spare time, Daniela enjoys painting, reading, and travelling.
Chiara was born and raised in Montréal. She is a fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce co-op student at JMSB, majoring in marketing. Thanks to three internships, Chiara has developed a passion for digital marketing. Her case competition journey began as part of the JMSB marketing team at this year’s Inter-Collegiate Business Competition at Queen’s University. Passionate about fashion, Chiara is also participating in this year’s Concordia’s Fashion Business Case Competition. She enjoys travelling, kickboxing, and spending time with family.
Justine Carlone (Coach)
Justine graduated from Concordia in 2017. She was part of the JMSB team that earned a silver medal at the NIBS Case Competition in Rauma, Finland that same year. Justine recently earned a MSc in International Sustainability Management from ESCP Europe and is excited to be coaching Concordia’s NIBS team this year.
Haig Tachejian (Coach, not pictured)
Haig graduated from JMSB in 2012 with a degree in Finance and Accounting. He represented the school at the 2012 NIBS Case Competition in Rotterdam, where his team earned a bronze medal. Haig has been with Air Liquide since 2012 in various financial and strategy roles in Montréal and Houston. He currently works as a Senior Financial Analyst at Airgas, an Air Liquide Company, in Tampa, Florida, USA. Haig has coached NIBS teams since 2013.
