Liam Matthew Gillooly

Born to diplomat parents in Mexico City, Mexico, Liam is a 4th year International Business student at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. Liam has lived throughout the world, including parts of South and Central America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. His most recent international excursion was to Seoul, South Korea, where he studied International Business at Sogang University. Liam’s passion lies in his desire to serve as a diplomat for his country, by participating in cross-cultural communication with students from around the globe. Upon his graduation in May, Liam will be moving to Qingdao, Shandong, China where he will continue his studies of international exchange and affairs.

Ethan Carlson

Ethan is a San Antonio, Texas native and a third year BBA student concentrating in Finance and Risk Management. This past summer, Ethan interned with Ares Capital Management in New York, where he rotated through their Direct Lending, Ivy Hill, and Private Equity Real Estate teams. He is currently the Chief Investment Strategist of the Investments Club where, he helps manage a $2,500,000 portfolio. Ethan is also passionate about improving the lives of dogs and pets where he serves twenty-five hours a semester at the local Animal Shelter. Among his many interests, Ethan enjoys hunting and playing guitar. Upon graduation, he plans to pursue a career in investment banking.

Kimberly Rodriguez

Raised in El Paso, Texas, Kimberly is a 4th year Bachelor of Business Administration student concentrating in Marketing and Sales. She currently serves as President of the Greehey Scholars Program for which she has been a member of for 4 years. Kimberly has completed internship programs with Union Pacific Railroad and Aramark Corporation and is currently on the strategy team for the 2019 International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition. Some of her interests include public speaking, hiking, and traveling.

Kyle Green

Kyle is a native of Dallas, Texas, and a 4th year BBA student in Finance and Risk Management from St. Mary’s University, concentrating in Asset Management. Kyle is a former member of the St. Mary’s Men’s Tennis Team. Kyle is the Vice President of the Investments club, which helps manage a $2.5 million portfolio. This past summer, Kyle interned at Goldman Sachs in their Realty Management Division. Kyle loves to watch and play hockey, though he is not very good; his favorite team is the Dallas Stars. He also enjoys the cold weather. After graduation, Kyle is looking to pursue a career in Asset Management or Sales and Trading, somewhere he can mix his passions for finance, programming, and helping others. Kyle is passionate about poverty alleviation and increasing children’s education.

Matthew Jordan (Coach)

Matthew is a Professor of International Business and the Executive-in-Residence for the International Business degree program. Professor Jordan teaches courses and runs study abroad and internship programs for both undergraduate and graduate level students. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family in Brazil and traveling, where he learns about new cultures from all around the world. He also speaks French, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Jeffrey Johnson (Coach)

Jeffrey is a Professor of International Business and Director of the Center for Global Business Studies. Dr. Johnson teaches International Business courses to undergraduate and MBA students in the Greehey School of Business. He enjoys leading students on study abroad programs, coaching NIBS teams, and traveling around the world.
