About the Team
Roma is a third-year Bachelor of Business Administration student, concentrating in international business. Her first case competition experience came in high school, when she competed at the provincial level. She plans to go back to school after graduating to pursue a career in law, and eventually hopes to be one of nine Justices on the Supreme Court of Canada. In the meantime, you can find her studying, playing volleyball, and working for Apple Canada.
Alexis Del Papa
Alexis was born and raised near Toronto. She is a third-year Bachelor of Business Administration student, focused on marketing. Alexis enjoys sports, travel, and plans to channels her passion for both at NIBS. She was first introduced to case competitions through DECA Ontario and recently competed at an invitational event in sports and entertainment marketing. Alexis plans to do her work placement next year in marketing.
Justin Medak (Coach)
Born in Toronto, Justin is Assistant Program Head of Business at the University of Guelph-Humber. He obtained his BBA at Wilfrid Laurier University, MBA at McMaster University, CA, CPA through the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ontario, and PMP designation through the Project Management Institute. Prior to working as a University administrator, Justin spent 5+ years at Deloitte working in the Enterprise Risk practice, specializing in Internal Audit Services, Project Management and Data Governance.
Kevin is a fourth-year Bachelor of Business Administration student specializing in marketing. He discovered a passion for case competitions while attending Humber College, and is now an executive for the UoGH DECA society. Kevin is passionate about sports and living life, with pastimes that include baseball, football and American football. He has walked on top of the CN Tower, gone bungee jumping, and experienced skydiving; he plans to try base jumping soon.
Jessica is in her third year of Bachelor of Business Administration studies, focused on finance. She was first introduced to case competitions through DECA U Ontario in October 2018 and went on to participate in her first national case competition this past November. During travels to Switzerland for a study abroad program, Jessica developed a greater understanding of business at an international level. She enjoys expressing her creativity through dance and has a passion for travel. Jessica plans to pursue a career that provides her with international opportunities.
