

About the Team
Simon SALVAIL. A finance student at Bishop’s and Portfolio Manager in SEED, Simon combines curiosity with strategy. Fresh off a first-place victory at the 2026 Schlesinger Global Family Enterprise Case Competition, he has demonstrated an ability to navigate complex business challenges on an international stage. After driving market expansion at LIGNA Systems, he now aims to build a career in strategy consulting, fuelled by learning, collaboration, and innovation.
Vivienne WEBSTER. Born in Montreal and rooted in the Eastern Townships, Vivienne is a fourth-year Bachelor of Business Administration student concentrating in Management, with minors in Marketing and Finance at Bishop’s University. She is an accomplished case competitor, having participated in the 2025 and 2026 Schlesinger Global Family Enterprise Case Competitions, earning Best Divisional Presenter both years, with her team placing 1st overall in the 2026 Undergraduate League. Highly involved on campus, Vivienne is Co-Founder and President of the Bishop’s University Consulting Group and has completed internships at BNP Paribas and Desjardins, gaining experience in business strategy, client-facing presentations, and professional communications. Post-graduation, she plans to relocate to New York to pursue a career in strategy consulting and an MBA.
Max HARRISON. Born in Ottawa and based in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, Max is a fourth-year BBA student at Bishop’s University, concentrating in Finance with a minor in Business Technology Analytics. He has competed in case competitions for four years, earning six podium finishes, including 3rd place at the Ted Rogers School of Business Battle on Bay (Best Presenter), 2nd place at the John Molson Sports Marketing Competition, and four internal podiums at Bishop’s. Max also serves as Head of Finance for the Bishop’s University Commerce Society, Co-Lead of the Ski and Snowboard Club, and Strategist for the Bishop’s SEED Portfolio in 2025, helping manage $1M in AUM. His experience includes internships at InterRent REIT and Mackenzie Investments. After graduation, he will join Deloitte’s M&A practice in Calgary. He enjoys skiing, golfing, and tennis.
Olivier PONTBRIAND. Raised in southern Quebec, Olivier is a 3rd-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) student, concentrating in Finance with a major in Sports Business. He currently serves as a Strategist for the SEED Portfolio, a $1M investment fund, and interns at a California-based FinTech unicorn, where he contributes to Canadian expansion strategy and financial planning. Along with teammates from the Bishop’s University NIBS team, Olivier secured first place at the SG-FECC and third place at the Battle on Bay case competitions. He plans to complete his MBA and CFA designation in the upcoming years.
- TJ SMITH (Coach). TJ is a fintech and AI leader bridging industry and education. As Program Director, Strategy at MindBridge AI, he helps organizations use advanced analytics and AI to strengthen financial oversight and improve decision-making. TJ is also a professor in the Williams School of Business at Bishop’s University and a former NIBS competitor who has coached case competition teams for over five years. He is actively involved in the Bishop’s community as an alumni leader and mentor focused on student development and career readiness. His teaching emphasizes practical, case-based learning in taxation, management accounting, and business strategy.
- Sandrine HÉBERT. Sandrine leads experiential learning initiatives that help students apply academic knowledge in real-world settings. As Experiential Learning Coordinator for the Williams School of Business, she oversees applied learning programs and the university’s case competitions, guiding students through high-pressure, team-based problem solving. She is committed to building student confidence, collaboration, and resilience through immersive, reflective, and skills-focused learning experiences.
