

About the Team
Mathew DAVIES. Originally from Vaughan, Ontario, Mathew is a 4th-year Bachelor of Business Administration student specializing in Finance. He is currently Co-President of ACE Guelph-Humber and has helped make it one of the fastest-growing chapters in the country. Mathew is an active member of the Guelph-Humber International Case Team and has competed at ACE Canada Nationals, the MLSE Case Competition, and AIBC, including a 2nd-place finish in the RBC Insurance case at ACE Nationals 2024 and a top-20 placing at MLSE. Beyond competition, he has represented the university through public speaking engagements at ACE and university events and completed a study abroad program in Japan. With strong interests in leadership, fitness, travel, and sports, Mathew plans to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities that blend strategic thinking, teamwork, and global perspective.
Jan Eros INTAL. Born in the Philippines, but raised in Dubai, Jan is a third-year Business Administration student specializing in Accounting. He is an executive member of the Guelph-Humber Accounting Society and an active delegate of ACE Guelph-Humber. In addition to extracurricular activities, Jan is a volunteer for the IGNITE Tax Clinic, an initiative to educate and guide the community about tax filings and returns. After graduation, he plans to work towards his CPA designation and pursue a career in Accounting.
Parth KAPOOR. Born and raised in Brampton, Ontario, Parth initially studied psychology but is now a fourth year Bachelor of Business Administration student specializing in Finance. With over five case competition placements, he currently serves as the Co-President of ACE Guelph-Humber, a business case competition society with over 140 delegates. He recently represented the University of Guelph-Humber in Jasper, Alberta, at the Alberta International Business Competition. Parth has a passion for learning how to improve operational efficiency and for international business. He aspires to work in the supply chain industry once he graduates.
Maya OSTROM. Born and raised in Owen Sound, Ontario, Maya is a third-year Bachelor of Business Administration student. She currently serves as the Vice-President of ACE GH, a student-led case competition society, and placed 1st in Human Resource Management at ACE Nationals 2025. Maya has held student positions in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors within HR and Marketing departments. She enjoys tackling complex challenges by analyzing problems through multiple lenses to arrive at practical, thoughtful solutions.
- Charles JANTHUR (Coach). Charlie is Vice President, Money Market at DEPAG Deposit Agency of Canada Inc., a Toronto based financial services company. He has been a faculty member at the University of Guelph-Humber and University of Guelph since 2005. An award-winning teacher, Charlie earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from York University and MBA from Queen’s University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers (FICB) and holds a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) designation from the Forum for International Trade Training.
