

About the Team
Kovar YU. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Peterborough, east of Toronto, Kovar is a Bachelor of Commerce student specializing in Sport and Event Management. He previously completed an internship with the Canadian Olympic Committee, supporting national sport initiatives and contributing to the planning and delivery of major events. Kovar currently serves as Executive Vice President of the Lang Students’ Association, providing leadership in strategy, operations, and student engagement. With a strong interest in sport business and event operations, he plans to pursue a career in the sport and live events industry.
Leah GAWZA. Raised in Greater Toronto, Leah is a Bachelor of Commerce student specializing in Management with a minor in Economics. She is actively involved in the university’s case competition community, serving on the ACE Lang executive team as Training Manager and Director of Events. In 2025, she placed at ACE Canada Nationals in the Tech & Innovation category. Leah has led the planning and execution of major case competitions, including ACE Lang Invitationals and the Great Ethical Dilemma Case Competition, where she earned a Best-in-Class award. She also serves as Director of Mentorship for the Lang Students’ Association.
Nate SZUBERT. Born in Hamilton and raised in Brantford and Bobcaygeon, Ontario, Nate is a third-year Bachelor of Commerce student majoring in Management with a minor in International Business. He currently serves as Vice President of Events for the Lang Students’ Association, focusing on inclusive and philanthropy-driven programming. Nate recently completed an eight-month co-op term at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, supporting project management and communications initiatives for its 25th anniversary. This experience strengthened his interest in mission-driven work. He aspires to build a globally engaged career grounded in ethical leadership and community impact.
Manavv TANEJA. Born and raised in India, Manavv is a third-year Bachelor of Commerce student specializing in Real Estate with a minor in Accounting. He is actively involved in Guelph’s case competition and leadership community, having represented the university at the Cornell International Real Estate Case Competition and earned a top placement at ACE Canada Nationals. Manavv currently serves as Director of Delegate Experience for ACE Lang, Leadership Development Manager for Asian Business Leaders, and a member of the Real Estate Students Association. He has completed co-op roles in accounting, business development, and student engagement and is a recipient of the ICSC Foundation Canada Scholarship. He plans to pursue a career in commercial real estate investment and development.
- Mary-Anne MOROZ (Coach). Mary-Anne is a career development and talent management professional with over two decades of professional experience. Currently, she serves as head of the Business Career Development Centre at the University of Guelph’s Gordon S. Lang School of Business & Economics, where she oversees strategy, operations, and industry partnerships. Mary-Anne has also previously taught the school’s business case competition preparation course. Her early career was in recruitment and HR at Deloitte, followed by work in alumni engagement and cooperative education at the University of Guelph and Wilfrid Laurier University.
