

About the Team
Valentin SCHOENWAELDER. Valentin is in the final semester of his Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Media Management. As part of his program, he participated in the International Marketing Week in Vienna, completed an exchange semester in Valencia, and took part in several case competitions, including RICCB in Rotterdam and ROCA in Ottawa. He completed his internship in Sales and Marketing at Mercedes-Benz, where he gained hands-on experience in bridging both functions and understanding market-driven decision-making. And is now preparing to start his bachelor’s thesis. Beyond university, he is passionate about sports, especially football and enjoys meeting new people. Alongside developing his skills, he is particularly excited about the NIBS Competition for the opportunity to connect with others, collaborate in an international setting, and further explore his love for traveling.
Lena SCHOLZE. Lena was born in Heidelberg, grew up in Heidenheim an der Brenz, and currently lives in Künzelsau, Germany, for her studies. She is in the advanced stage of her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Media Management. Alongside her studies, Lena works in Marketing at Berner, where she is particularly involved in strategic topics. She completed her internship semester as part of her degree at the Porsche Lifestyle Group in the field of product management. In addition, she has demonstrated her international experience twice by participating in case competitions in Rotterdam (RICCB) and Ottawa (Roca Case Competition). Lena speaks German and English, is interested in cooking and fashion, and finds balance in everyday life with her small dog, Bonnie. After completing her bachelor’s degree, she plans to further strengthen her profile by pursuing a master’s degree.
Emilie PFAFENROT. Emilie is currently in the final year of a Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Media Management. During her studies, she participated in an International Marketing Week, where she gained insights into global marketing practices and strengthened her intercultural skills. Building on this experience, she completed a semester abroad in Sweden, which had an impact on both her personal and academic development, particularly by providing the opportunity to work closely with people from different countries. In addition to her academic pursuits, Emilie gained practical experience through an internship in Product Management at Mercedes-Benz AG. Passionate about traveling and exploring new cultures, she plans to pursue a master’s degree abroad.
Lisa ROEHL. Lisa is in the final semester of her Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Media Management. Throughout her academic and personal journey, she has gained extensive intercultural experience across various countries and acquired early business knowledge through short internships during high school. As part of her studies, she participated in international and interdisciplinary projects such as the Marketing Week in Leuven, Belgium and other insightful academic experiences. Her mandatory internship was completed at Robert Bosch GmbH, where she supported internal communications and event management activities. Soon working on her bachelor’s thesis, Lisa plans to pursue a master’s degree with a focus on digital marketing and communications. Beyond her academic interests, Lisa enjoys traveling the world and cooking different dishes from across the globe.
- Joachim LINK (Coach). Joachim has been a Professor of Marketing at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences since 2002. His main areas of teaching and research are within the field of brand management and customer management. Joachim is also the Internship Manager of the Bachelor program Business Administration, Marketing and Media Management. Prior to his academic career he worked as a Sales Manager in the machine building industry and for a couple of years as a Service Manager in a software company. In his doctoral thesis he did research on B2B services in cooperation with Siemens AG.
