About the Team

Paulo SANTOS.  Born and raised in Brasília, Paulo is a third-year Business Management student with a strong interest in international trade and foreign commerce. He actively develops cross-cultural competencies and leverages advanced proficiency in English alongside ongoing study of Mandarin Chinese to better understand global markets. His commitment to international engagement is reflected in his work as a tutor for international students, where he provides both academic and cultural support. Paulo aspires to pursue a career in international strategy, drawing on a solid analytical foundation to navigate complex, globally interconnected environments.

Mitaly CAMPOS.  Born and raised in Brazil’s capital, Mitaly is a fourth-year Bachelor of Business Management student currently interning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Her academic journey includes two international exchange programs: Zhejiang International Studies University in Hangzhou, China, and the Universidad de Sevilla in Spain. Mitaly is also an active member of the Ambassadors of the Department of Business, a group dedicated to welcoming and supporting international students and visiting professors at the University of Brasília. In 2024, she completed an internship at the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies.

Paule “Paula” BLONDELLE BANGUE BANGUE ELOMBO. A Cameroonian raised in Pretoria, South Africa, Paula is a fourth-year student specializing in Finance. She combines her passion for numbers with a strong interest in people-focused leadership, demonstrated through her prior role as President of her university’s Banking and Finance Club. Paula’s professional experience includes an internship in the finance department of Dangote Cement, one of Cameroon’s largest companies. A dedicated polyglot, she communicates in six languages, currently teaches English to Portuguese speakers, and is learning Russian. For Paula, NIBS represents an opportunity to meet people from around the world while pursuing something she is passionate about and continuing to learn along the way.

Vitor GOMES.  Born and raised in Brasília, Vitor is a fourth-year Business Management student with interests in finance and people management. During his studies, he worked as a consultant at AD&M, the university’s junior enterprise, and served as a tutor both within the organization and in a program supporting senior learners aged 60 and over. Over the past year and a half, Vitor has worked at Ancar as a Sales Intelligence Intern, where he contributes to strategic decision-making through data analysis.


  • Joana AFONSO (Coach).  Joana is a Business Management student at UnB and an undergraduate research fellow (PIBIC). Her research focuses on compliance, organizational practices, and mental health in public institutions. She previously participated in the NIBS case competition as a student competitor, teaching assistant, and now coach. Professionally, she works in projects and processes at V360, gaining experience with large Brazilian companies. She is also involved in internationalization initiatives at UnB supporting visiting professors and international students.
  • Bruno Eduardo FREITAS HONORATO (Coach).  Originally from Minas Gerais, Bruno is a Professor of Management. He holds a PhD in Management from UFMG and has 10+ years of experience in organizational studies focused on government planning, public administration, innovation, and international partnerships. He coordinates academic mobility programs and interdisciplinary research on innovation in emerging countries, ethics, and vulnerable populations. He teaches Business Case Analysis and supervises student teams in international case competitions.
